Cornmarket is delighted to support the new iRevise School of the Year Award which recognises second-level schools in Ireland that actively promote student wellbeing. This is the first year that the awards will be taking place and participating schools must prepare a 3-minute video outlining how their school promotes health, wellbeing and sustainability. Entry is online at irevise.com/ie or via email and is open to any second-level educational school in the Republic of Ireland.

An iRevise School of the Year and two national runners-up will be selected, as well as five regional winners, including Dublin city and county as a fifth region to the provinces. Health and wellness programmes, sporting and lifestyle activities, professional resources and general wellbeing awareness within a school, as well as in-person supports to counter stress, are the key factors to be assessed during the judging process. As teachers play a major role in students’ health and wellbeing, there is also a Teacher Appreciation award, to recognise the effort of teachers in promoting stress management and providing emotional support.

Director of Marketing & Customer Experience at Cornmarket, Lisa Kelly, explained “Looking after the financial wellbeing of public servants and their families is in our DNA. This is a great opportunity to highlight the work that teachers and schools do in our communities to promote wellbeing among students, particularly around exam time, which can be highly pressurised. Cornmarket is delighted to be part of this initiative and to recognise the great work being done in schools around the country.”

There are a whole host of prizes to be won as part of the awards. Full detail is available online at irevise.com/ie and the closing date for entries has been extended until Friday 10th March, 2023.
