- Use the STAR technique to structure your answers to the competency focused questions. STAR is an acronym for describing the Situation at hand, the Task carried out, the Actions taken and finally the Result of the situation. Using this technique will help you prepare clear and concise answers.

- Don’t stress if you have not prepared for a question asked. Its ok to take a moment to yourself, to have a think about your answer and come up with an example.
