What do you enjoy about working in Cornmarket?

I really enjoy the people and the team environment that Cornmarket as a workplace encourages. In my experience, having a good relationship with your colleagues is essential to maintaining a happy workplace. Cornmarket has a strong culture of teamwork and encourages working together with other departments to achieve company goals and targets.

What does your typical day look like?

It’s hard to sum up a typical day, as every day is so different. I am always kept on my toes! I suppose a typical day would include monitoring and managing the overall productivity of the Health team. I engage with the Team Leaders and Sales Advisors to keep up to date on the progress of individuals and team targets. It’s very hands on which is great as I am a people person and I love the interaction and fast pace of the call centre environment. I am also involved in productivity meetings and actions, as well as working with other departments on key projects to ensure the success of team targets.

What are you most looking forward to in the year ahead in Cornmarket?

I’m really excited about getting back to a more social working environment, not just virtual, as it has been the last 2 years. As much as we have relied on technology to stay connected it is nice to get together in person. I’m also looking forward to upcoming get togethers, including Cornmarket’s Big 50th Birthday celebrations!
