What do you enjoy about working in Cornmarket?

I’m part of the Cornmarket IT & Operations team, which is a great team to be part of. I’ve been with the organisation for about 3 years. Cornmarket fosters a culture of collaboration and communication, with colleagues who are always willing to help with any challenge. It’s a particularly exciting time to be part of the IT Team as the business is in a process of rapid transformation, adopting a gamut of new technologies and solutions.

What does your typical day look like?

A typical day for me involves interacting with colleagues within IT and across the business. It would not be unusual for me to have a day where I interact with colleagues from 4 to 5 departments. This makes it a great way to see how we support our customers from multiple perspectives. My day involves manging ongoing projects, while also gathering an understanding of upcoming projects and business challenges to identify potential solutions with a highly motivated team.

What are you most looking forward to in the year ahead in Cornmarket?

Cornmarket is in the process of an accelerating transformation journey. This makes it an especially exciting time to be part of a team, looking into and adopting new technologies and solutions, to support both our teams within Cornmarket and help provide better services to our end customers. I look forward to a year of delivering projects that add value to business, while also focusing on a pragmatic adoption of new technologies and solutions.
