What do you enjoy about working in Cornmarket?

I really enjoy the variety in my work, alongside the autonomy I am given to shape my role, but what sets Cornmarket apart are the people. There is a distinct culture here that is welcoming and supportive. I’ve felt heard and trusted from day one and I’m grateful for the support I have received in terms of my professional development. Finally, it’s easy to achieve a great work life balance working here, thanks to the various hybrid and flexible working options available to employees.

What does your typical day look like?

Every day is different which is great, but you’ll likely find me seeking approval for new roles, writing job specifications, sourcing and phone screening candidates, liaising with hiring managers, interviewing, or drafting contracts of employment. I also engage in some onboarding and employment branding initiatives, which I really enjoy.

What are you most looking forward to in the year ahead in Cornmarket?

I love meeting new people and get great satisfaction from helping candidates find a role that can really have an impact on their career. I am also really looking forward to the various wellness events or company celebrations lined up for us this year, there is always something to look forward to and fun going on working here.
