We're delighted to be the main sponsor of Breast Cancer Ireland's Schools TY initiative. The aim of the outreach programme is to encourage and educate women on becoming breast aware at a younger age and to educate them about the disease so they can identify any early warning signs and take the necessary actions for a more positive outcome. The programme involves Breast Cancer Ireland’s nurses and outreach co-ordinators going out to visit schools throughout the country, to deliver a presentation that is designed to be friendly, informative and non-intrusive for both teachers and transition year students.
