We’re delighted to announce that from 1st April, Central Bank of Ireland employees will be automatically entered into the Income Protection and Group Life Plans, administered by Cornmarket.
These Plans are tailored for Central Bank of Ireland employees, and provide protection for what matters most.
All employees who are actively at work* on 1st April 2025 will be included in the Plans automatically, with no medical underwriting and 4 months’ FREE!
From 1st April 2025, the cost of Plan membership of the Income Protection Plan is 0.71% of salary and the cost of Group Life is 0.25% of salary.

Warning: The current premium may increase at the next Plan review which should take place on or after 31st March 2029.

*Actively at work today - This means you:
Those on paid or unpaid statutory maternity, adoptive, parent’s or paternity leave are considered ‘actively at work’ as long as this period of leave is not in excess of 47 weeks in total.
Those on career break, taking carer’s leave or other forms of unpaid leave are not considered ‘actively at work’. Those taking parental leave are not considered ‘actively at work’ unless they are working a reduced number of hours every week throughout their leave and otherwise meet the eligibility criteria of the Plan.
