Peer support

Let's Talk About It - Support Services

Peer support

Peer support provides a place where participants can share lived experiences and advice with each other. There are different types of groups where you can talk via instant chat, phone in or on Zoom, all that aim to:

  • Provide a safe space for you to speak openly about experiences, feelings and thoughts
  • Create a supportive community to share advice and coping mechanisms with each other
  • Be a place where you can feel heard and understood

Life Skills Group Programme

The Life Skills Group Programme will teach attendees how to better cope with the stresses of everyday life, recognise and manage unhelpful thoughts, learn new ways of thinking and ultimately begin the journey to a healthier and more confident life. Developed by the renowned cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) specialist, Dr. Chris Williams, the programme is specifically designed to help people learn more about how we think and how this can influence our actions in helpful or unhelpful ways.

Next available start dates:

  • Thursdays 7:30PM-9PM, 21st of October
